We have just received the news that we have been waiting for, we have finally been approved for our retail water license.
With ten years’ experience in the SME energy market, our CEO Chris Shaw felt it was a natural path for the business to take…
“Utility Bidder has been built on simplifying utility procurement and proactively guiding businesses to reduce energy outgoings. We feel this principal should be coherent across all business utilities therefore entering into the water retail market will allow us to continue the service through further business services.”
We made a move to the Corby Innovation Centre to accommodate expansion back in 2015 after out-growing our original premises in Market Harborough. Since then, we have expanded further by developing a corporate arm, opening an additional office in Manchester and exploring other services to offer a one stop utility solution for businesses.
Since the water deregulation in 2017, businesses have had the ability to change supplier. However, the water contract is only one element that needs to be analysed for savings. We have worked with several customers to gain rebates, explore water saving devices and understand if there are any areas where money can be saved.
The corporate team at Utility Bidder commented…
“From our own independent research we have seen as many as one in five businesses experience issues with their water supplies. Our goal is to ensure our customers are entered into the best contracts by offering a full health check on all utilities including water. Our aim is to continue delivering informative, bespoke, cost effective utility solutions to our clients so they have confidence and peace of mind in all their utility supplies”
If you are a business that haven’t looked into your water supplies, it is recommended that you undertake a water audit for the premises to ensure you are being charged correctly. We offer water audits as a completely free service, call today on 0800 007 4001 to speak to an adviser.
